* Lancashire Evening Post * I liked Young, Gifted and Dead right from the first page. is well-constructed and filled with enough twists and turns to keep the reader guessing * The School Librarian * A fun read! * .uk * Within those pages was a hidden gem * The Guardian Children's Books * Young, Gifted and Dead is an impressive debut which explores many contemporary issues whilst delivering a fast-moving, edgy and absorbing whodunit. * .uk * The book is full of suspense and Alyssa is a brilliant and slightly kooky narrator. turns out to be a rattlingly good climax. * .uk * But there's nothing predictable about Lucy Carver's characters or her plot. I would certainly recommend Young, Gifted & Dead, especially for those, like myself, who enjoyed reading and watching Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard. On the whole, I enjoyed reading Young, Gifted & Dead by Lucy Carver. She has had many different jobs but is now an author, writing for both children and adults. She was a keen writer as a child and went on to study English at university. Lucy Carver was born in Harrogate, Yorkshire.
